Graphic Tee Design

— John Lennon, or maybe you've heard of his old band the Beatles... 

Working on this John Lennon shirt was fun and rewarding. With the market saturated in John Lennon photo tees I was asked to do something without his photo. Dropping a quote like "Give Peace a Chance" was about as obvious as just having John's photo on the shirt. That wasn't gonna work. After struggling with the type for some time I landed on a clean typeset with John's iconic spectacles at the top of the design. It immediately resonated as John Lennon without his face ending up on the shirt.
